Gimme Credit's "ScriptMatch" Terms & Conditions

This is an agreement between (I/we), Author(s) and (you), Gimme Credit LLC and its agents and assigns.

I/we attest that all that follows is true and correct.

I/we attest that I am/we are at least 18 years of age or older.

ScriptMatch submission fees are non-refundable.

All scripts must be in English.

All scripts must be registered with ONE of the following: Writers Guild (www.wga.org), ProtectRite (www.protectrite.com) OR the U.S. Copyright Office (www.copyright.gov).

Screenplays must not have been previously sold or produced in any form. In the event your screenplay is produced, optioned or sold after being submitted to ScriptMatch, the author(s) must notify us IMMEDIATELY.

I/we am the sole owner(s) and author(s) and have exclusive rights, copyright and authority to submit this screenplay as per the terms in this agreement. There are no disputes regarding the ownership of the material submitted. If any arise, I will notify you immediately.

I/we certify that my/our screenplay has been registered with at least one of the following: the Writers' Guild of America, ProtectRite or the United States Office of Copyrights.

I/we understand that my/our screenplay will not be returned and hereby release you of all liability for loss, theft or damage to the copy of the screenplay being submitted to potential producers.

I/we understand that a potential producer may request revisions to my/our screenplay and it is my/our decision whether or not to perform the requested revisions.

I/we understand that if my/our screenplay is matched with an interested producer, it is my/our responsibility to locate adequate legal representation before I/we option or sell my/our screenplay.

I/we understand that Gimme Credit LLC is not responsible for negotiating, selling or producing my/our screenplay and that Gimme Credit LLC will simply provide me/us with potential introductions from interested filmmakers.

I/we understand and accept that Gimme Credit LLC will be free to use my/our name(s), biographical information, likeness, logline, and synopsis for advertising or promotional purposes without financial consideration.

I/we agree to hold you harmless from and defend you against all claims, demands, losses, damages, judgments, liabilities and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any connection with any and all claims made by third parties based on any screenplay submitted to ScriptMatch.

I/we acknowledge that while it is your goal to match my/our screenplay with a suitable producer, you are not obligated in any way to get my/our screenplay optioned, sold or produced.

I/we understand that my/our participation in the ScriptMatch program is purely voluntary and I/we can remove my/our screenplay from the ScriptMatch program at any time by simply sending an email to mail@gimmecreditcompetition.com with a request for removal from the ScriptMatch program.

I/we attest that the screenplay submitted has never been produced or sold and is not currently under an option contract.
