GIMME CREDIT INTERNATIONAL SCREENPLAY COMPETITION

TERMS AND CONDITIONS CYCLE IX

This is an agreement between (I/we), the Author(s) and (you), The Gimme Credit International Screenplay Competition, a dba of Gimme Credit LLC and its agents and assigns.

I/we attest that all that follows is true and correct.

I/we attest that I am/we are at least 18 years of age.

I/we have read the Gimme Credit International Screenplay Competition rules and request that you read, evaluate and judge my/our screenplay solely for the purpose of eligibility for the prizes in the competition.

I/we am the sole owner(s) and author(s) and have exclusive rights and authority to submit this screenplay as per the terms in this agreement. There are no disputes regarding the ownership of the material submitted. If any arise, I will notify you immediately.

I/we certify that my/our screenplay has been registered with at least one of the following: the Writers' Guild of America, ProtectRite or the United States Office of Copyrights.

I/we understand that my/our screenplay will not be returned and hereby release you of all liability for loss, theft or damage to the copy of the screenplay being submitted to the competition.

I/we understand that all prizes are subject to substitution at any time to be determined by and at the discretion of The Gimme Credit International Screenplay Competition.

I/we understand and accept that The Gimme Credit International Screenplay Competition will be free to use my/our name(s), biographical information, likeness, logline and synopsis for advertising or promotional purposes without additional consideration.

I/we agree to hold you harmless from and defend you against all claims, demands, losses, damages, judgments, liabilities and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any connection with any and all claims made by third parties based on any screenplay submitted to you.

I/we attest that the screenplay submitted has never been produced or sold and is not currently under an option contract.

If I/we place in the competition, I/we will not enter into any agreements regarding the production, sale or option of my/our script without first notifying (in writing) the Gimme Credit International Screenplay Competition of my/our intentions.

If The Gimme Credit International Screenplay Competition learns that my/our script has been produced in any form with or without my/our knowledge or permission I/we will be forced to relinquish all eligibility and rights to prizes.

I/we agree that all communications and correspondences received from the Gimme Credit International Screenplay Competition are strictly confidential. I/we agree not to forward or post such communications on forums, websites or alternative public outlets. Doing so is immediate grounds for disqualification and legal liability.

I/we attest that I have read all of the official contest rules and have read this release in its entirety and understand and agree to all of its provisions, and that no other promises or agreements have been offered by you and that no confidential relationship is established by submitting my/our material to the Gimme Credit International Screenplay Competition.
